Azal
Most of Portugal’s Moscatel grapes, including the famous Moscatel of Setúbal, are Moscatel Graúdo (‘great Muscat’), known elsewhere in the world as Muscat of Alexandria. Grown all over the southern half of Portugal, the heartland being in the Setúbal Peninsula, this grape is used traditionally for sweet fortified Muscats.
