Known as the ‘cat’s tail,’ this grape is a widely planted variety in Portugal. It is one of the best white grapes in the Douro, giving generous yields and maintains the ability to retain a big burst of acidity during the hot Douro summers. Floral, aromatic and leafy flavours are often used to describe wines made from Rabigato. This is a decent all-rounder.
