Relatively aromatic Vinho Verde grape used predominately to counteract high acidities in other varieties. Ripens early and yields well. Wines are usually deep straw in colour and hold a strong aroma of rip, macerated tree fruits of apple, pear and peach. The palate is warm and smooth.
