Poema
The vineyards of Poema can be found North of Portugal in the DOC region of Melgaço, Minho. Protected by the mountains of neighbouring Galiza, situated close to the border of Spain and on the banks of the River Minho, Poema prides itself on the richness of the surrounding landscape that helps make this region so unique and full of character. A boutique winery with 1.5 hectares of vines, majority Alvarinho, is already into its 6th generation of wine making and a limited production of 10,000 bottles. The focus is on quality Alvarinho and Poema has it in abundance.
