Quinta Vale das Escadinhas
Formed by the Costa barros de Figueiredo Family, more than five generations ago, today, QVE consists of four vineyards within the Silgueiros sub-region of Dao, Vale das Escadinhas, Barreiro, Esmoitada and Falorca, with a productive area of 13 ha. All four have been reconverted over the last 30 years, benefiting from huge financial investment, with direct intervention in wine production and the building of a modern vinification facility. Given its exceptional conditions, Quinta Vale das Escadinhas also has another 10 ha, providing an agricultural and florestal area with olive, hazel-nut and pine trees.
