Vale d'Algares
Vale d’Algares rises up in Ribatejo vineyards as a modern project, orientated to the wine and vine worship. Located at Vila Chã de Ourique, the birthplace of Independence, Vale d’Algares is a vineyard with nature as far as your eyes can see. The vineyards occupy an area of 31 hectares, distributed over two areas, Vale d’Algares and Quinta da Faia. 2004 saw the construction of a modern winery, a facility that is able to produce 350,000 bottles/year.

Currently, Vale d’Algares makes wines under two labels. The premium label, Vale d’Algares has won a number of awards for its quality and uniqueness; produced from 100% viognier vines. Guarda Rios is a label that expresses quality and personality of the Ribatejo.
